"On the Road"

Sheila Lussier and Camille Solari will direct their debut feature tentatively titled, "On The Road with Mr. and Mrs. Brown." The documentary film, shot live in 2005 and 2006, follows life on the road with legendary, Godfather of Soul James Brown and Tomi Rae Brown, his wife and lead vocalist. The documentary reflects Tomi Rae's life as a rock star from age fifteen, when she performed with her former rock band Hardly Dangerous, to her current role as back-up vocalist for her husband, R & B legend James Brown. The documentary includes interviews with James Brown, his band and family, as well as members of Motorhead, The Scorpions and Sunset Strip scene makers from past and present.
